Tend, Gather, & Grow is one of GRuB's newest programs. It's dedicated to educating youth about wild edible and medicinal plants and the rich cultural traditions that surround them. Through the development of a teaching toolkit on Northwest plants and providing teacher trainings, the program aims to build food security, promote health, and facilitate connections with the land.
We have a nearly one teacher training per month coming up in 2019! (Plus one this Sunday, 12/9/18, & there are still spaces available.)
The trainings are offered on Saturdays (except for December 9th which is on a Sunday) to make them accessible to teachers who need to be with their students during the weekdays. We're striving to make them financially accessible by offering early bird discounted registration rates of $100 for each 7-hour workshop.
